Beautiful, perfectly decorated, very comfortable,neat, silent, very nice view. Run by the owners, si service is impecable. Impresive breakfast, different everyday, nicely served, enough amount of food and beverages, great taste.

Juan Carlos and Patrick are super hosts! Kind, friendly, and responsive. The property and accommodations are stunning, peaceful, relaxing, and the breakfasts are delicious. Area beaches are gorgeous, local dining options are excellent. This is a 10+ stay experience.

Patrick and Juan Carlos are such thoughtful and kind hosts. The property is beautiful and well appointed. Every detail is accounted for. Our favorite part was the breakfast each morning as we looked out over the beach - we think the best breakfasts we’ve ever had. Thank you for hosting us!

Some places stay with you long after you leave. Canta La Rana is one of them. Set high on a hillside above the Pacific near Playa San Miguel, the location is simply breathtaking. The hotel feels suspended between jungle and ocean, with wide, uninterrupted views that make sunrise and sunset unforgettable. From the terraces you can see the coastline stretching endlessly, while the surrounding forest creates a sense of complete tranquility. What makes Canta La Rana truly unique is that it is not a conventional hotel. It is the personal project of Juan Carlos and Patrick, and you can feel that spirit everywhere. Patrick, an architect, has created a place where design and landscape blend beautifully. The buildings feel elegant yet relaxed, carefully positioned to frame the views and to live in harmony with the environment. The atmosphere is intimate and peaceful. With only a few rooms, it never feels crowded, and the experience is deeply personal. Juan Carlos and Patrick are wonderful hosts who take genuine pride in what they have built and in making their guests feel welcome. Mornings begin with exceptional breakfasts overlooking the ocean. For lunch and dinner we went Doña Dominga’s Soda nearby. It’s a simple and affordable local place, serving wonderful food. Doña Dominga is charming and an excellent cook. Evenings bring spectacular sunsets and the sounds of nature. Time seems to slow down here in the best possible way. Canta La Rana is not just somewhere to stay — it is a place created with vision, taste, and generosity. We left feeling incredibly lucky to have discovered it.

The hosts are helpful while remaining very discreet. Breakfast varied between days and all of them were excellent! The entire place is thoughtfully designed and beautifully embedded in the surrounding landscape and nature..

L accueil très sympathique de Patrick et Ruan, toujours aux petits soins afin que nous passions le meilleur séjour possible. Le lieu et la chambre absolument magnifiques, décor de rêve, grande chambre décorée avec goût, très belle salle de bains et douche extérieure, vue incroyable, superbe piscine. Délicieux petits déjeuners faits maison différents chaque jour avec jus de fruits frais. Un plaisir d arriver, difficile de partir, une escale que nous n oublierons pas!

Patrick and Juan Carlos are fabulous hosts. They are so accommodating and thought of every little detail to make our stay absolutely flawless. Everything was pristine. The amenities were impeccable. The architecture is beautifully designed.The breakfasts they made were so delicious and presented beautifully. The location is phenomenal with a fantastic view. These guys are a class act!!! On a scale from 1-10, we give it a 20!

Nothing with the accommodations. Road to get there is a bit rough. 4WD is recommended.

This place is absolutely stunning. Architect built, no detail left out. Absolutely beautiful from the driveway to the edge of the infinity pool.
