Bucklegrove Holiday Resort

Staff were friendly and helpful, the caravan was clean and had everything we needed including dish soap and hand soap, which is a nice touch. The hot tub was greatly enjoyed and the location was great for getting to Cheddar Gorge, Wookey hole and Bath city and lovely local walks. Thank you to all at the park.

The resort is in a fantastic location for visiting many places, and is surrounded by beautiful views. The staff were lovely, in a laid back way, which suited me. The swimming pool was sooo warm, it was just absolutely gorgeous to get in to! The caravan was very comfortable, well equipped, warm, and with plenty of hot water for the shower. And the decking area couldn't have been positioned any better for catching the sun. Toilet, bathroom sink and inside the shower were sparkling clean, with the towels and bedding fresh and white. There are a fair few areas around the resort that could do with a deep clean, BUT I was so grateful to find somewhere affordable to take my daughter on a holiday, and knowing the financial strain on small businesses at this time, in my opinion it was a reasonable trade off. And we'll definitely be going back! If you are looking for a quiet break, I wouldn't advise you come here over a weekend as it was very noisy well into the night. However mid week it was soooo peaceful, and a completely different place.

The caravan could do with a good vacuuming as there was a lot of dust and hair on many surfaces. I also had to the clean off the outside chairs before use. And there was a lot of green and dirt built up on the plastic decking and railings. The outside mat was full of dirt so had to avoid using that in order not to walk it into the caravan. Could have done with having a mop and carpet sweeper in the caravan too. The soft brush of the dustpan and brush was not effective on the carpet. Also I didn't like that it turned out to be a Hoseasons booking! But now I've found the place, I shall book direct in future - and have already done so for a future holiday.

Wifi did not reach the holiday home and no phone signal in the area so something that would need looking at ..

I loved the area it suited my travel to where I was working

The caravan next door had hot tube and when you've got young children to get to sleep and at 11oclock they are still in there making a noise very frustrating
