The Wee Ludging - A Cosy Riverside Cottage for Two

The Wee Ludging Cottage was warm, comfortable and convenient for all our plans during our stay in Dunoon. There is plenty of information in the property regarding the area, use of appliances within the property and suggestions for activities, eating out and accessing food stores. It was adequately furnished and supplied with kitchenware for 2 people in the fully fitted kitchen. Contact before arrival was explicit regarding bringing own food/refreshment supplies and a small welcome basket was available. The was no personal interaction with hosts although a number for necessary or emergency contact was made available.

Me......I did not pick up from the photographs or information that the 'studio' meant that the bed was in the open plan living/dining/ kitchen room. It was a very comfortable set up but not to our taste - my reading needs to improve.

Cute, cosy and clean. Easy access surrounded by beautiful hills. Wonderful location with lots of walks/hikes to do.

Nothing negative to write as we had a wonderful stay.

Location was perfect for our stay and travelling about, near to forests for our walks, also near Dunoon for restaurants

Everything was perfect at the wee ludging

This chic little lodge had everything you could wish for when visiting the beautiful area around Dunoon. It is perfectly located for exploring the area. The lodge is extremely private, has its own gated parking and it overlooks the forest. Hanging baskets finished the look on the patio - lovely. We loved the well equipped modern kitchen and bathroom. Little touches were nice like the wildlife books and binoculars. The bed was so comfortable, best sleep for some time! Maybe the clean Scottish air helped too.

Absolutely nothing, apart from we didn’t see the resident red squirrel 🐿️

Lovely location and accommodation and most of all nice and peaceful! Would recommend to all who just want that quiet break away from the daily grind.

The view from the property was gorgeous, very peaceful and quiet.

The bed was a bit small, my husband is 6ft 5, he found it uncomfortable. Also the inside of the kettle was dirty. We had to clean it and boil it a few times to remove the black residue that had built up.
