The Wee Ludging - A Cosy Riverside Cottage for Two

The property itself was quaint and cozy with all nessesary facilities such as a nice bathroom and fully equipped, modern kitchen. The location is very good for visiting the surrouding area, which is beautiful with several nice places to eat out.

Oh dear god the midges. Most of the time I needed to have every door and window shut to stop from being eaten alive, which was a problem because the property heats up like a sauna, especially at night. This is not necessarily the fault of the owners (I'm sure there aren't clouds of midges all the time) but that, combined with the poor internet, made working from the property very difficult.

The setting was picturesque and peaceful. It was close to all amenities and beautiful walks.

The Wee Ludging is wee but is very well designed with high quality furniture and fittings. Lovely bathroom and surprisingly well resourced kitchen. The lodge was beautifully clean and practical. It was cool when we arrived but warmed up quickly. Ideal for a short break. The nearby forest walks are a delight

Nothing really. Bit overwhelmed by the instructions and information provided but no doubt they are useful if anything had gone wrong. Nothing did go wrong!

The Wee Ludging is small but perfect- everything that you would need has been thought about and is there for you! It was perfect for my partner and I who were on holiday for 6 nights, with just a 10min drive to Dunoon. All of the furnishings are really beautiful, and the lodge was immaculately clean. We looked forward to coming back each day (and found it hard to leave in the mornings because we were so comfortable!). I liked that my parking was right outside our lodge and was gated. Stephen and Liz were great hosts- although we did not need to see them as no problems, we knew they were nearby. All of the info they left re the property and surrounding attractions/ recommendations were great too.

The Wee Ludging is an absolute gem of a place. Very peaceful and private location for a couple. From the outside it looks small, but the inside space is utilised perfectly and has absolutely everything required for a cosy, self-catering stay. We absolutely loved it and can't wait to return. It's just across the road from Puck's Glen, so perfect for walking etc. and the resident red squirrel popped over to visit us on a few occasions!
