Ideal Central position for going to the coast

Perfect location, quiet and peaceful place, very stylish interior, comfortable beds

Could do better cleaning as cobwebs was a lot and everywhere I get it’s self catering place but hand soap would be nice Would suggest to paint cabins number in visual colour Few blinds was broken so couldn’t open but we fixed that Canvas picture on living room wall nearly fall off as it was attached only with blu tack, it’s scared us at late evening

The most important thing we could experience was peace and quiet, close to the sea and many other places to visit. We had a very nice time here and will definitely be back here again.

The air conditioning was amazing

No basics like hand soap and the freezer has never been defrosted in its life so I didn’t like getting there and the 1st thing I had to do was remove all the ice in the freezer to get my shopping in

Just some bits which were missed out could have been better: Some rotten wood on the outside patio. No curtains in the main bedroom, had to add a blanket every night. No freezer Very small fridge for size of accomodation

The space and location is beautiful. Very peaceful and tranquil.

It would have been nice to have a small outside table on the veranda plus two more chairs. There is a £500 deposit which could deter some people. I’m not sure how long this takes to be refunded.

The cabin was clean and tidy, with basic amenities and pretty comfortable. It felt roomy for a lodge. Louth is a short drive away and is a lovely small town with some history and interesting shops and restaurants - photo below. Lincoln is about an hour by car, and well worth a visit, especially the castle and museum of Lincoln life.

The freezer compartment of the fridge was half full of ice, almost unusable. The smoke alarm battery was also unplugged, which was concerning. The main issue for us was that the site has no obvious access to the surrounding woodland or countryside, which is what we'd come for. It's just lots and lots of cabins in some woodland, with a golf course next door, which seems to be the only entertainment. Although promised a wealth of local information over the phone when I paid the surprisingly large security deposit, there was nothing in the cabin about the local or site facilities - just a vague map of the site and info on the cooker, WiFi and heating. There were signs for golf and a restaurant near the entrance, which was about a quarter of a mile up the road from our cabin. The park road has massive speed bumps and we had to go over 8 to get in and out, which on a low slung car, was very unpleasant. Finally, a week after our break I had to contact them to get my deposit back, which they said had "got missed." Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

We really enjoyed the woodland area surrounding the cabin, made for excellent walks. In good distance to both Lincolnshire wildlife park and Lincoln zoo which was perfect for our days activities.
