New Forest Lodges Bashley Park

Spacious, bright, clean, comfortable and well equipped. It has been tastefully furnished. Bedding and towels were good quality The site is quiet with lodges spaced well apart. B30 was a very sunny lodge Access was easy and Lee, the owner, provided good, clear communications and responded swiftly to enquiries.

The on-site facilities are extra. They are the same price for six people as for two. £70 for four nights was not good value for my granddaughter and myself. However, this is not the fault of the lodge.

It was our first time at this site and we loved it. It wasn’t too busy, staff exceptionally friendly too.

The spa was not open despite being advertised as being open.

The 2 lodges (Linwood and Woodland) were well equipped and very comfortable for 5 adults, two children and a dog. Communication with the owner was efficient and pleasant. Great location and loved the pools and woodlands.

Perhaps a 4 person or 2 person cafetiere in the Linwood kitchen?

The lodge was fantastic, large, clean, comfy and perfect for the little ones. The location was quiet and great for visits to the surrounding New Forest.

Nothing to do with the lodge which was great, but half the reason we stayed was to make use of all the activities available on site and we were shocked at how filthy the swimming pool facilities were, the small soft play definitely hadn't been cleaned in weeks and there was clearly not enough staff in the bar and restaurant because tables were not cleared for hours. For the cost of the activities you expect a hell of a lot better.

The lodge was fantastic. Supplied with all the necessary crockery and cutlery and so nice to see washing up liquid readily supplied! Beds were super comfy and set in a nice quiet location a short walk from the main venue. Lee was excellent in contacting from the moment the booking was confirmed to ensuring all was ok at arrival, answering promptly any questions we had. The location is brilliant 5 mins to central new forest (car) and 14 to highcliffe beach (car). Lovely farm shops nearby too for those self catering essentials. The entertainment team at Holborn were brilliant and our 5 year old had the time of his life! The pool access isn't time restricted which is great for busy families who want to have a loose schedule. The multi sports pitch was excellent.

Sadly it was the Holborn staff themselves that let the score drop to an 8. Upon arrival to pick up passes the staff were less than helpful. We were left without an understanding of what facilities were on offer and how to access these ... Feeling an understanding the activity structure and processes were not freely shared even though we clearly stated we had just arrived and never visited before. A shame really As everything else was great. Sadly given the great British weather there could be scope for more indoor based activities to support the youngsters.other than just soft play and arcades and pool.

Everything you could ask for in a lodge break, great communication with the owner and lovely to meet in person. Look forward to using again
