Kilbane Glamping

It's wasn't ready when we arrived. Lady didn't realise it was booked. Shower head and bathroom door was a disaster.

It was everything I needed: silence and nature. The cabin is clean and has utensils for the kitchen. When we arrived, the heater was already on, keeping the cabin warm. I will return many more times.

The bed was very soft, but everyone has their own preference. You can't please everyone. And I didn't see a phone number to contact them if needed. I had no way to get in touch with the owners, where we could ask for information… in some ways it was good, because my husband and I felt comfortable inside the cabin, where we were given privacy.

Gastgeberin sehr nett und zuvorkommend - hat uns ihren Airfryer geliehen und eine Nacht erstattet, da es einen Stromausfall gab (aufgrund eines Sturms) und wir eher abreisen mussten

Dusche funktionierte leider schlecht; Kühlschrank hat unsere Lebensmittel gefroren; Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis; leider nicht mehr so neu, schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen

Quiet location

We gave our arrival time as 3-4pm but at 3:55 the pod was not ready and still being cleaned. Parking was approx 90m downhill so all luggage/food/drinks needed to carted uphill. Freezer unit in the fridge was iced closed and no knives in the cutlery caddy. Both were swapped with the other pod (so that user had the same issue). No plug-in cooktop- BBQ available but no utensils for it. Self-catered accommodation in an isolated location needs better cooking options.
