Kilbane Glamping

The host was very responsive and kind. There is lot of place for the kids to play if the weather is nice. Beeing surrounding by animals was amazing.

We had a great time and have no real critiques ! However if the weather is bad the experience might be different.

We were really disappointed with our stay at Kilbane Glamping. One of the main reasons we booked was for the bbq facilities, which were clearly listed, but it turns out the bbq and fire burner are only available in one specific pod, this was not made clear anywhere during booking. We had brought food specifically for the bbq and were left with nothing to cook on that night. The bbq was eventually brought to us around 5pm the next day, which was a bit late as by then two of our meals had already gone to waste. Communication with the hostess was also very poor. I messaged her two hours before arrival, then again when we got there, and called twice & no response. We had no idea we were meant to just let ourselves in. It wasn't until the following day, just an hour before check-out, and it was only then that I got a reply about the bbq situation aswell.

Everything we needed in a compact space. My children enjoyed the cows, donkeys, goats and sheep.

C’était exactement ce que nous souhaitions, la simplicité, le calme, la nature, les animaux. Le logement était idéal pour notre petite famille. Un énorme merci pour les œufs de Pâques, notre fille était ravie.

The peace and quiet .it reminds me of childhood with not a care in the world .

Kilbane is a beautiful place to go ,more so if you live a busy life and want to escape the social media life ,you can just sit and soak up the peace and quite ,read a book relax and recharge the battery.

Great location for sightseeing around Lough Derg and on to Galway, lovely views, fun and comfortable pod and very sweet with the donkeys, sheep, goat and adorable pig. And hosts Aine and family couldn’t have been more helpful!
