Hotel Progresso

There was much to like but I particularly appreciated the care that was shown for my dog who received her own little welcome pack. Otherwise, the location was perfect, opposite the beach. Breakfast catered for all tastes. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. And we were each given delightful posters on our departure - which will definitely be framed and hung on my wall!

The only thing which could have improved my stay would have been better tea and coffee making facilities but really that wasn't an issue.

Good location, very close to the sea and many restaurants

The rooms and the hotel in general are very old fashioned. The bathroom was new-ish but the room felt very dated. There was no duvet sheet cover but a simple sheet and wool blanket. Not hygienic and not what you would expect in a 4 stars hotel

This is an hystorial place in San Benedetto del Tronto located in one of the most beautiful walkable point of the lungomare street. The hotel Progresso since I was a kid, was considered very elegant for this part of the Adriatic coast standard, which are in general not so high if you compare with other locations. Anyway, we have the breackfast included and I was very disappointed because there was a very little amount of pieces of everything. We travel on the second week of September and it seems that they was close by to end the season, so the sensation was that we was finishing the leftovers.

Forniture style it could be done much better because the actual result is a kind of a bazaar.

Location is opposite of beach and quite close to city center and train station The ladies from reception were very helpful and gave us lots of information

When we arrived the guy at the reception was not friendly and didn't gave us any information. Even we had to ask for the breakfast time.. not even a welcome word..
