Gayathri Stay

This place is in a busy area close to the temples and has a good tasty veg restaurant next door. The room has two 6 ft*6 ft beds with two bathrooms equipped with geysers. The building has two floors with an elevator. TV is provided with an SCV setup box. Phone available to call the reception and management is helpful. The room has many hooks and hangers to hang clothes. AC cooling was good enough.

The bathroom floor is almost 1.5 ft high from the room floor. It's difficult for seniors to get in and get out each time. Plastic stools have been provided for both bathrooms. No washbasin in the bathrooms. A washbasin is placed next to the bed, water can splash while using it. The hallway and building look congested. Terrible wifi - 5Mbps speed, unable to use. Huge secured parking is available next door, but the muddy ground makes the car dusty.

Hotel staff is courteous. They provided us single room for 4 - helped us to stay together. Also, it has 2 bathrooms - helps to get ready fast. They assisted us with known Saree Shop where we got good deal. Has a open parking - if you have concern about dust or rain or sun - think of it. The gold part is - quality restaurant just adjacent to this property.

There came a guy who asked for 'tips' while checking out. Nobody helped us with carrying luggage or did anything over the top of existing facilities. Also, He asked it right infront of the cashier. This did not give a good impression.

Failitilies were passable. Room was neat and tidy.

Staff were not friendly or helpful. Pictures on this site are old pictures and don't show the room for what they really are. Wif reception was really poor.

Good location, clean and good parking space

Don't have good ventilation.

It was nearby all the main temples. Situated right above a vegetarian restaurant that had absolutely amazing food. Nearby all the silk saree weaving houses for the ladies. Overall a nice stay.

The step to the bathrooms are a bit too high safety wise. Knee level almost. Old people would have trouble getting into the shower. Probably need to add another step for a more gradual slope. The current one is dangerous when getting down if your feet are wet.
