"A must stay if you're coming to Manali."

10.0

The property location is just perfect where anyone can find peace along with majestic Himalayan valley view from almost every room.from sunrise to sunset you can witness the beautiful sky changing hues.the food is so delicious with lot of options to explore that I don't feel like going out for trying different cafes as they're is a garden cafe. The wifi is also fast and excellent for work. It's a magnificent experience all together.

"Decent Stay, Beautiful View, Service is slow"

7.0

So, firstly the view is very nice from the hotel. People are nice. Affordable

Service is very slow. If we ask them to prepare some dish the chef will take 1-1.5 hours to prepare. I feel if they have high demand they should hire two chefs. The location is beautiful but make sure you have to walk a lot so book accordingly.

"Not good, a client is nothing."

5.0

Only the picture of the room in Booking.com. The rest was a disaster.

We booked the most expensive room with a corner window for its premium features and view, but upon check-in, we were moved to a cheaper room that we didn’t select. This room had poor lighting and a blocked view due to a bathroom. I noticed this cheaper room was listed at a significantly lower price, and the pictures on the booking site were mixed up, leading to confusion about what we would receive. When I asked why we weren’t given the room we booked, I was told it was “first come, first served” and the room was occupied until the next day. Instead of offering compensation, we were simply moved to a lower-class room. I expected better customer service, such as offering the best available room or an extra amenity, especially since it was very cold both nights. On the second night, we finally got our original room, but there was no kettle for hot water, and the bed sheets were old, dirty, and smelled unpleasant. By that point, I was too exhausted to raise the issue We also had to ask for toilet paper on both days, and on the first day, when I requested an extra towel, a staff member made an inappropriate suggestion to purchase something. This experience was far below the standard I expect from your hotel. I would appreciate a response and resolution to this matter.

"10/10 would recommend staying here - great property, kind hosts, and fantastic views!"

10.0

I had the pleasure of staying at Timberwolves in Old Manali during the winter of 2024, and it was nothing short of magical. Having explored numerous properties across Old Manali over the years, I can confidently say that Timberwolves stands out as one of the absolute best. The hosts, Rahul and Soumyadeep, epitomize warm hospitality. From the moment we arrived, their genuine care and attention made us feel right at home. Adding to the charm is Chef Praveen, whose culinary expertise transforms every meal into a masterpiece. Whether it was a hearty breakfast or a comforting dinner, the food was simply outstanding. The entire team of staff was diligent, attentive, and always ready to assist, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was flawless. The property itself is a gem. The vintage house, built in traditional Himachali style with stone and wood, exudes charm and character. Each room is carpeted, cozy, and impeccably maintained. One room, in particular, features a stunning Victorian-style fireplace and writing desk, perfect for artists, writers, or anyone looking to unwind and create in tranquil surroundings. For those seeking standard accommodations, the newer building also offers well-maintained rooms and spotless bathrooms. Heaters are available at a nominal daily charge, which is a blessing during winter nights. The views from the rooms and the café are simply breathtaking, with snow-covered peaks and the serene valley stretching out before you. Evenings by the bonfire, under a starlit sky, were a highlight of the trip. The location of Timberwolves is another major plus: it’s close to the Manu Temple, the famous (or infamous) Rocky’s Café, and the starting point of the beautiful Meadows hiking route, which is an absolute must-visit for nature lovers. Keep in mind that the property is situated on a slope, so getting there involves a bit of walking up scenic roads. However, the effort is entirely worth it.

This is very rare for me, but there’s nothing I disliked about Timberwolves.
