"fabulous location and views"

We looked the location and the views were lovely. The lodge was very spacious and the hot tub was great.

The lodge could have done with more plates and cutlery and some plastic glasses for the use with the hot tub

The stay at the cabin was an amazing break for myself and my girlfriend, the view of the lake was beautiful and we couldn't have asked for a better time away! Very happy and will look to be coming back.

There was nothing wrong or that we didn't like!

We’ve just returned from our few days at Allerthorpe golf and country park, where we stayed in Heathery Lodge. What a beautiful, well looked after, clean and homely lodge. Unfortunately while we were away we had some issues with our car and my partner had tonsillitis which put a downer on our trip. Not being able to get out and visit the surrounding areas due to these reasons wasn’t made to bad after all due to feeling so at home in Heathery lodge and enjoying the hot tub. Would definitely recommend a stay here and as a family we would definitely visit again.

the lodge itself was stunning…the hot tub however, was minging

The only complaint we have was the hot tub. Filter hadn’t been cleaned for months

Nice location, with lovely decor and furniture . Relaxing hot tub .

It was rated 5 * but I don’t feel it reach that. We had a very old rusty frying pan that should not be used . I feel that the essential condiments could be left , salt , pepper , oil etc . Most of the blinds and windows where very dusty and dirty . I feel it would be in the best of owners interest to protect mattress and pillows with protectors , to be rental hygienic too , feel to be told to strip all beds on departure day not really 5* . At that level of rating you have the most relaxing time with nothing to do, but to strip all beds was a bit much ! . Outside only need a jet wash down too.

The lodge was fantastic.. And spa pool great and checked every day. Staff fantastic coild not do enough for us.

Was 5 star.. If had better mattres on beds(emily mattres) would be 5 star plus
