We were unfortunate to stay here over 22-23 May 2024 and gave up and went home after one night of a planned 2 night stay. Despite being advertised as benefiting from heating, the central heating didn't work and the two free standing heaters were inadequate for a 4 roomed apartment. One of the bedrooms and the bathroom couldn't be heated. Despite asking about the central heating being switched on, we received no answer. The wind was blowing through the windows as was the rain which was pooling on the windowsills. The bed linen was clean but overall the apartment was dingy and we didn't feel comfortable sitting on the furniture. The shower was mouldy and the doors didn't close properly.

The property was clean and everything you would need for a lovely weekend getaway. The colleagues at the pub were exceptionally friendly and helpful and made us feel really welcome. The food available was amazing and we will definitely stay there again.

The location of The Olds Nags Head is fabulous. Edale is the start of the Pennine Way and the surrounding views are lovely. The accommodation was clean and comfortable.

A few minor details like the hook on the bathroom door needed fixing and there wasn’t a full set of cutlery or glasses. We were able to get them from the pub.

Incredible location. Good-sized space for the living room & kitchen.

Felt like the owners didn't know we were coming. Had no heating turned on & it took a while to get it sorted. The booking made us think there was a bath in the room.. not very clear that this room didn't have one.
