The hotel has beautiful grounds, the facilities by the pool and the lake were excellent - really allows you to absorb the surroundings. The rooms are fairly big with nice balconies facing the pool, and they were cleaned everyday.

Sauce itself is an absolute dead zone for restaurants, but it’s a tiny, remote jungle town so somewhat expected it - but was hoping the food at the hotel would be nice…I mean, it’s not terrible but completely unremarkable. Also, the staff seemed fairly disinterested in being there to be honest. We paid an extortionate amount for laundry service (we had no other choice as there are no other laundrettes in Sauce) and our clothes came back damp and creased.
