CHFriendly family-run hostal, breakfast was great : freshly-made tostada with tomato and a very good jamón, fresh fruit (kiwis, bananas, apples). The restaurant was very good, the secreto delicious and portions large. I would most definitely go there again.

Needed some Spanish to get by but we were in Spain! Parking difficult midday as restaurant very busy ( mostly Spanish) but space available post rush.
BEVery nice hotel, very well located to visit Monfragüe National Park. The personnel make you feel welcome and is very helpful (they helped me fix my car's battery after I forgot to switch the lights off during the night). Also, the restaurant is nice and reasonnably priced. I will definitely recommend it.

Nothing to do at the pueblo - we went there to be close to the Monfragüe Park, but there was really nothing else to do there.

In the photographs regarding the property it implies that there is a swimming pool- there is no pool! There is no on-site parking. It clearly stated that there was a kettle in this room - this was not so. When queried (I had to resort to google translate app - no one spoke English) I was told that a drink would be available at the bar. When we arrived back in the afternoon everything was locked up and nobody arrived back until the evening! There appeared to be another couple staying at the hotel. Breakfast was included. At 9am the first morning we were offered a hot drink, orange juice and toast, butter and jam. We were then told it would be 8.30am the following morning (Wednesday) and from what we could understand that everything would then be locked up. The owner’s mother served us breakfast, we weren’t offered fruit juice and had hot drinks and we only wanted one portion of toast. That was the last time we saw anybody! We left Thursday morning!
ESLoved the staff, all so friendly and willing to help. Very nice family.
Maybe the connection with the Parque Nacional de Monfragüe but all in all, it was good.
