I loved how clean everything was. The rooms were great and completely air conditioned.

I did not like that everything closed early during the weekdays

Staff was extremely kind, professional, helpful. Hotel grounds are well kept, quiet, inviting. Restaurant food is delicious. We had breakfast and dinner and enjoyed everything that we ordered. Very family-friendly, fun wooden play structure, lots of grounds to play ball, relax.

Pool could have been heated. It was too cold for us to enjoy, even though the weather was very warm and sunny - we visited mid-may.

Very comfortable room. The property was well kept & very beautiful.

We didn't know that all of the restaurant, winery & brewery would be closed our whole stay (Monday - Thursday)

I liked that the facility had a pool and a play structure for the kids. I also liked the restaurant and brewery onsite. It was also fairly central to get to several of the wineries or restaurants that we wanted to visit on this trip.

I thought that I was getting a room in the giant barrel. I needed a room for four people and didn't realize that the barrel only slept two people and the room we got was a cabana that fit four. I wish the listing was a little more specific about what you were getting. The lighting inside the room was also terrible in the bathroom--making it difficult to get ready using the mirror.

The rooms in the barrels are very nice. The staff very friendly.

Unfortunately we had two days of terrible rains and the property transformed into a mud pool almost impossible to reach our rooms. The pool close to the family rooms is very small but they are constructing a bigger one close to the barrels which will be nice when finished. However therefore it feels a little you are on a construction site still. The property feels a bit chaotic with lots of different areas but doesn’t feel like a whole. I must admit it might feel different on a glorious summer day. Ask for a barrel room far away from the route otherwise it might be noisy.
