Hotel Cabreromar

Tuve una estadía maravillosa en este hotel en Cartagena. Desde el primer momento, la atención fue impecable: todo el personal fue muy amable, atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. La comida fue simplemente deliciosa, con una gran variedad y excelente calidad. Cada detalle hizo que la experiencia fuera aún más especial. Sin duda, es un lugar al que volvería y que recomiendo al 100%

There were small cockroaches in the room, there were stains on the sheets and on the pillow covers. The toilet was clogged and when I asked for help, staff said we couldn't use the toilet anymore and to "use the shower".

Apenas o que mais gostei foram dos funcionários que são muito simpáticos e amigáveis. Amei todos! Foi legal algumas coisas como: O chuveiro tinha água quente e isso era bom demais. Outra coisa legal era que tinha frigobar no quarto e um armário bom para colocar as roupas. O hotel era localizado há poucos minutos do centro e do aeroporto. Dava pra ir a pé pra muralha.

O hotel estava com baratas. Cheguei a encontrei uma na parede. Depois de dois dias apareceu outra. Outra coisa que me decepciono bastante foi o café da manhã que é a mesma coisa todos os dias. O que muda é apenas o suco do dia. O café compõe: dois pães de forma, ovos que podem ser mexidos ou fritos, frutas(duas fatias de mamão e melão ou melancia), café com ou sem leite, um potinho de manteiga e geleira de morango. Todos os dias foi isso que tomei café. Ah! E não pode repetir, caso queira tem que pagar a mais. Outra coisa que foi ruim foi chegar no quarto e ele estar bem sujo de poeira e com formigas mortas no chão. Cheguei bem cansada e queria apenas deitar, então só pedi limpeza no quarto depois.

Room 3/5: The AC control did not work, and it got super cold. We asked for a thicker sheet, and they brought it up super quickly. There was no drinking water, or fridge, no plugs beside your bed to charge phones. They had some consumables, but water was not among them, which is insane to me. Cleanliness is 5/5, clean sheets, no comments. Overall attention and operations 2/5: It was odd that they did not let my sister and brother-in-law come up to my room for a few minutes before the tour pickup; they had to wait in the lobby with no AC. One day, they let me know they were cutting the water off from 11 am, and they did not know until when, but assured me that at night we would have it normally. We did. Location: 3/5: The hotel is close to the centre, you can Uber there, and it takes around 5-7 min. The surrounding area is ok, I would not walk alone at night though. However, it's centric enough to be included in most pickup spots for almost any tour you can get in Cartagena, which is helpful. Overall 3/5. It’s an ok hotel if you only want a place to sleep and you’ll be away most of the time. Do not expect anything luxurious or super comfy. It’s a plain hotel, with a good bed, a clean room, located almost at the edge of a good area. For the price and everything mentioned above, I would not stay here again.
