AUOwner of property extremely helpful; let us check in early and helped us with great advice about places to eat and using public transport to get into the city. One of our rooms was excellent- self contained, very clean and had everything we needed.
Second room had to share our living area with total strangers. There was no indication of this on the booking website and I wouldn’t have booked if I’d known this.

DEGBGreat location - nice and quiet, with easy access to main roads into nearby towns. Ideal for walking in the area. Parking available just outside the property. Washing machine in the shared kitchen/seating area is a handy addition for longer stays. Heating and hot water worked well (with boost function). Friendly owner, met us on-site to hand over keys and show us around. There is a small corner table with kettle in the bedroom, which is handy for having a quiet drink early in the morning (so no need to use the main shared kitchen). Not too far from Dublin ferry terminal and very easy to find using Google maps. Has free WiFi, which is handy as our O2 roaming didn't work at all.
The shared kitchen/living space is ok if the other people staying are reasonable (which they were for us), but this can be a gamble (as we found in a Spanish villa last year), so next time we would look to book a private apartment at the same location. The kitchen could do with a few more plates, utensils etc, as there seemed to only be a few bowls and large pans. If others are trying to cook at the same time, that could be awkward. There is no dishwasher in the kitchen, which would help mitigate some of the above concerns. The shower tray drain in our room was very slow to clear, so may need cleaning. A couple of the lights in the bathroom did not work.
