Tunak Cottage

Good room and place, incredible view from the pool. Staff not good and kind

Beautiful cottage overlooking the ocean and coastline. We basked in the infinity pool and marveled in bliss over the incredible views. Just as mentioned in the reviews, the cottage is a quite a distance from the main drag of Kuta which makes it well situated for visitors looking to enjoy calm scenery away from any bustle. We were excited about this prospect and didn't mind the time it would take to reach kuta/other destinations from Tunak, however, it came as a surprise to us that there is no Grab/Gojek anywhere on the island! Initially we were apprehensive and felt stranded, but quickly took to learning how to drive a motorbike. We ended up LOVING exploring within 1 hour radius of the cottages by motorbike and coming back to our isolated refuge each night <3. In all, Tunak Cottages was an excellent stay. It is especially great those looking for isolated refuge from hustle and bustle, but is also great for those who want to explore the island and are comfortable driving motor bike. Finally, staff was also incredibly nice and accommodating. Thanks for everything!

The view and location was amazing, would love to return! We also enjoyed the swimming pool and egg fried noodles for breakfast!

The views are sensational! To wake up looking out over the bay was amazing and the pool area was lovely. Friendly helpful staff & a great breakfast included too. A great place to relax & unwind

The rooms are very close to each other so if you have noisy neighbours like I did a couple of nights it's annoying but that's not the fault of the property.

Everything from the excellent, friendly, considerate staff to the amazing view from our room and the surrounds. The food was excellent and my dietary requirements easily catered for. The pool was clean and the bed super comfy.

The bathroom was fully functional but could perhaps do with a refresh. It doesn't deter us from wanting to come again soon.

This location is a must to visit. Such beautiful special spot away from any hustle and bustle. Bring your favourite book and just chill out. The staff are so beautiful and kind, especially Mity, Iryan (I hope that’s spelt correctly sorry) and the reception team too ( I forget their names sorry). The food was delicious, you have to try the prawn and lemongrass sauce! The facility’s are fair for the price point. Thank you again!
