Chalets Silencio del Bosque

Süße, einfache Hütten mitten in Dschungel. Abends hat sich ein Mitarbeiter eine Stunde Zeit genommen, uns im Garten die vielen bunten Frösche, Schlangen und Insekten zu zeigen. Besser als jede andere Nighttour, die es wo anders zu buchen gibt!!! Super freundliches Personal, wir haben uns toll unterhalten und haben viel über die Kultur in Costa Rica erfahren dürfen. Das authentische Frühstück war das beste Gallo Pinto unserer gesamten Reise!!!

The Frog tour was amazing!

Wir waren im neu eingerichteten Gästehaus untergebracht mitten in einem schön angelegten Garten. In dem kleinen familiengeführten Restaurant konnte man gut frühstücken und essen. Die Atmosphäre war sehr offen und herzlich. Der Gastgeber bietet abends umsonst eine Nachtführung durch den Garten an, bei der wir unter anderem einige Froscharten beobachten konnten.

De ligging, midden in de natuur. Weg van de drukte van La Fortuna. Met een eigen goede soda. Leuke nachttour van de host. Veel mooie kikkers gezien.

Je moet wel van basic houden.

Hébergements en pleine nature. Visite nocturne du jardin à la recherche des grenouilles très sympathique.

Équipements très sommaire. Existe 2 types de chalets : certains avec salle de bain partagée et d'autres avec sallle de bain privative. Faites attention lors de votre réservation!

La amabilidad de las personas desde que ingresamos todos fueron muy amables , la comida 1000/10 demasiado delicioso , buena cantidad comida , buenos precios , lo recomiendo 100% , volveremos a futuro .

So happy I discovered this place near Fortuna!! Immediately added another night… and really hope to come back one day. Staying here means staying with a local, very friendly family, with all comforts: an incredibly comfortable bed, ac (if you want to use it), (very) hot shower (if you like)… and a knowledgeable, kind and calm owner who will take you around the garden for a (free!) nighttour, where you get to see a lot of different kinds of frogs (including redeyed, for sure), maybe a snake (I did!) or even a basilisk (I was very lucky). Meals and drinks are provided on site (if you like), without pressure to eat there and everything is very yummy. Varied breakfast options as well. All the staff is so friendly and helpfull. Driving up I saw a Toekan fly across the driveway… Sitting outside your cabin at night you get a free concert by the rainforest animals. Waking up in the morning you are greeted by a hummingbird. This place is a proper paradise retreat if you want to get away from the hussle and bussle of Fortuna. The price/quality is extremely fair, everything is clean and the cabin is beautifully made. You are close enough to the town, NP and hot water river to go for a dip at the end of your day and come back before dark to enjoy your little slice of paradise. Highly recommend adding this accommodation to your bucketlist if you want a quiet, authentic and truely relaxing place to stay. Muchas gracias por todo y hasta la próxima!

Can’t think of one thing… if you need to put anything in the fridge, they will gladly let you use theirs as well…
