Chalets Silencio del Bosque

La mejor comida de Costa Rica, muy traditional.

Nice quiet place with a small pond and lots of animals. Everyday at 7pm a short frog spotting night tour is given for free. Original chalets with large semi-outdoor bathroom. Real "one-with-nature feeling. Real friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant (typical local 'soda') with bar has nice and affordable food.

Bedroom relatively small. With our backpacks we had sufficient space, but when using large suitcases, you might find it small.

Loved bird watching from the restaurant. The staff was fantastic and offered us a complimentary frog tour.

No hot water in the shower, but not a huge deal.

Immerso nella natura, camere spartane ma accoglienti, buon ristorante e buona colazione. Proprietari super accoglienti, tour gratuito per vedere la rane molto interessante.

Arredamento ridotto all’osso, non c’è nemmeno un comodino o una sedia su cui poggiare i vestiti. Forte odore di umido e molti insetti in camera, ma considerando che si tratta di una casetta immersa nel verde non si può pretendere di più.
