The property was very basic but was exceptional for the price. The owner of the lodge and his wife were incredible and her cooking was amazing. We were able to do everything we wanted to do in just a one night stay because they arranged all of our travel. All of the tourist attractions are within easy reach from the lodge and they organised an incredible elephant safari for us at Kaudulla national park.

Amazing place, it feels like a jungle resort! The rooms are well separated, with a sitting area outside each room. The room was spacious, clean and had a mosquito net. The road up to the property is rough, other than that the place is perfect.

The room is very spacious and clean, with a nice porch. It is surrounded by green. It is amazing if you are in need of a break from the world. Very very good value for money.

After it gets dark if you are alone and, especially without own vehicle, you can't really go out, and there is no place to eat within walkable distance. So one really needs to plan accordingly and buy food before heading back for the day. The dogs can get really loud at night.

We really liked the attention to detail and decor of the entire facility. You can see that the owners try to provide their guests with all the amenities. The hosts were very nice and helpful (the best tea in Sri Lanka!). Our kids loved playing in the yard. The place is very well connected to nearby attractions.

Nothing as a 'dislike', more like 'be aware': as this place is in the middle of the village be prepared for mosquito and different animals that are running on your roof :)
