Paraikal Beach Resort

Location was good in a secluded location over looking the back waters and the sea. Rooms were decent size with a private pool as described by the property

The room AC stabilizer makes constant noice which was annoying. lady Sumitha was the only person running around to run the place. Once she leaves the premise no one has any clue. Access to the beach is not straightforward.

Nothing at all

It has the feel of a cheap place, definitely nothing like a 10k per night property in Kanyakumari. There are no shops or restaurants in the vicinity, but the resort's restaurant is not functional either. We reached at 1 PM, and were told that it'll take 1.5 hours to get food ready. Dinner has to be ordered by 4 PM. The food is crappy and overpriced. No landline system. You need to call a mobile number for any request. The number may or may not get picked up. It didn't get picked up at 7 in the morning for coffee. It didn't get picked up at 8 in the morning either. When we walked to the reception, it was locked, with no one in sight. We just left the keys there and checked out earlier than planned. There were no other guests in the resort on that weekend except for a party celebrating a birthday. They were drunk and kept screaming at the top of their voices all night. By the way, the nearby beach is also littered with poop. There's no escape!
