Hidden Valley

We practically almost ate most of our breakfast and dinner meals here. Even if you decide to stay somewhere else this place is worth a visit for the food. Meg has been a fantastic host. Her cooking skills are phenomenal. She also accommodated to few special request (ie softer pillows, early breakfast, transport to the port). Her son Sebastian, the cats, the dogs add so much to the homy experience. Feels like you’re not a guest but part of the house.

If we had to choose, one of the staff forgot our motorbike request. But they resolved it right away.

Hidden Valley is a real gem for those seeking a relaxing paradise stay away from the mainstream tourism. Here you can truly relax. The bed is superb, the staff as well as the owner friendly and attentive. The restaurant area offers spectacular views as well as really good meals (the best we had during a whole month in the Philippines) and friendly service. Eating here is truly a joy. If you want to explore the island you can rent a scooter here for a good price. Expetional value for money! If I come back to Siquijor I will book this place again!

The owners and staff are some of the nicest people you will meet on your travels, and the food served by Meg is by far the best we ate not only in Siquijor but during our entire 3-week trip in the Philippines. The rooms are simple but very decent, and the general chilled atmosphere of the place makes it a must-stop when driving around the island.

It was so authentic, so calm and peaceful ! The view is breathtaking and the staff is so nice! Not to mention the food: AMAZING!

There were a lot of mosquitos in the bathroom (which also smelt bad) but other than that everything was so so perfect

The food! Oh my, I cannot put into words how amazing the food is. Meg is an amazing Chef. So much so that we ate here for most meals (something we never do!) Everyone we spoke to said it’s the best food on the island and we were lucky enough to be staying here. The view is stunning, especially at sunset. The team is fabulous, special shout out to Honey and Angel for taking such good care of us and Richard of course for, well, pretty much sorting everything including advice for our onward travels. The location is out of the hustle and bustle but everything is easily accessible by bike (which Richard can sort for you). And last but not least, Sebastian, what a quirky and wonderful soul. Thank you. I really hope we’ll be back.

Everything fantastic! The setting is amazing in a beautiful area of Siquijor, with great sunrise and sunset views. The accommodation is brilliant, and the food is absolutely amazing and suits everyone. Richard and Meg can also help arrange everything for you, such as trip recommendations, transport, and scooter rental. Highly recommended if you are visiting Siquijor. And if you are already staying elsewhere, definitely visit their restaurant!:)

charming cottage in the middle of nowhere, you can only hear the animals and insects sounds during the morning, evening or night, splendid view to the sea, magical sunsets and best food ever in my stay at the Philippines From Richard and his wife ( the actual star chef of this place ) to the girls Angel and Honey, that always been smiling and treating me like family, I could not express my happiness and gratitude for my stay with them, this place will see definitely make you fel better trust me. I have eating breakfast and dinner during my 5 days there and every plate and dish were just Delicious. Richard had already a moto ready for me to discover the island during my stay and he did picked me up from the port. I will definitely come back sometimes in the future but also recommend everyone to stay there at least once in life.

the water pressure at the shower could be better but that was not a problem at all.
