Bester Service, super lieber Empfang und Hilfestellung. Individuelle lokal typische Ausstattung der Zimmer. Tolle Lage, 2 Bars/ Restaurants direkt gegenüber. Nur 10 Minuten mit UBER zur Waterfront.

Kann im Sommer sehr heiß werden in den Zimmern. Zur Zeit wird das Restaurant um/angebaut, es kam zu Geruchsbelästigung. Eine Information vorab hat nicht stattgefunden.

"Lodge in Afrkaanse stijl"

Gezellige lodge in Zuid-Afrikaanse stijl. Heel vriendelijke ontvangst. Prima ontbijt. Een aantal kamers hebben mooi uitzicht op de Tafelberg. Ligging aan een rustig pleintje met 2 prima eetgelegenheden.

Helaas werd de lodge gerenoveerd tijdens ons verblijf. Het ontbijt werd daardoor in de ruimte voor de receptie opgediend. Ook hing er door de werkzaamheden een enorme stank die voor hoofdpijn zorgde. Misschien was het verstandiger geweest de lodge tijdelijk te sluiten om deze overlast te voorkomen. Rond half november zal een deel vd renovatie klaar zijn en weer volledig in Afrikaanse stijl zijn. Eind 2025 moeten alle werkzaamheden klaar zijn. Kleine kamers.

We loved everything, we had a very warm welcome by the owner himself, the staff at the reception, Biza was exceptionally lovely, very caring and looked after us so well, Uncle John was so nice to us, the Security uncle was also a nice person. They all are ever ready to help and make you feel safe and comfortable. Majestic view of the Table mountain from the lodge...unforgettable. We had a very good time. We wish Ikhaya a prosperous continuity, our best wishes. We hope to meet you again!

"Good place to stay after a long flight"

We had a nice stay. The guard checked us in and was very kind. The room was great, with a comfortable bed. The neighbourhood is a bit sketchy, but fine. If you're looking for a place to have dinner, we've had some nice pizza's at the Dogs bollocks.

Central Very nice breakfast options Friendly staff

No bar fridge. When we booked it gave us the option for smoking and non-smoking rooms, because my filter searched for hotels smoking. When we arrived we were informed that no smoking is allowed. So I proved to the reception staff when I made the booking it gave us the option, so they fully understood and allowed us to smoke. The owner or MD must update their profile regarding smoking rooms because it is misleading to us as visitors. Also when we arrived the reception informed us about maintenance renovations in progress. I requested something special for my husband's birthday but the message was never conveyed to the reception staff.

Das Ambiente der Lodge mit Sicht auf den Tafelberg und die Lage an einem kleinen Platz mit zwei weiteren gemütlichen Restaurants. Sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Besitzer und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter.
