"Wonderful, Relaxing Stay"

The lodge was very well equipped and there were lots of extra little touches. We loved the hot tub and my husband really enjoyed the fishing. You couldn’t ask for a more beautiful and peaceful location for a few days away. We had a lovely relaxed stay and will definitely be booking to come again next year!

Very peaceful. Good facilities. Hot tub was amazing 🤩. Host left a few welcome gifts which was a very nice touch. Will definitely be returning.

We love this lodge and have stayed a few times now. Lovely cosy lodge. Love the hot tub, and the little extras like wine and chocolates We will be back!

"Perfect Birthday Retreat"

10/10 Recommend! I surprised my boyfriend with this for his birthday - the host put up Happy Birthday decorations and there was some lovely treats too. The lodge is clean, comfortable & cosy and absolutely stunning. Very peaceful and wholesome retreat will definitely return :)

"Worth the money"

The entire place has a very cosy and tranquil feel, the cabin itself and all the furniture felt really solid and is well maintained, you can tell that the owners take pride in the property. The small touches of a bottle of wine, chocolate’s and even a pint of milk in the fridge came as a complete surprise when we arrived and were really appreciated! We had a cup of tea in the hot tub (which is also a proper ‘Jacuzzi’) the morning before we left and it was lovely to see the ducks coming over to us as we headed outside! We enjoyed it so much that we aim to come back at some point in the summer when the longer days are back so we can appreciate all the outdoor features.

The location of the property is very rural so there are no shops nearby but this is only an inconvenience if you forget something, not a negative but definitely something to bear in mind before you head there.
