Balmoral Studio Lodge

It was absolutely perfect thank you for a fantastic relaxing stay we will definitely be coming back .

This place is truly beautiful gorgeous surroundings everything you would need in one spot

Everything the quirkiness, it was very cosy and extremely clean.

Nothing whatsoever, it was perfect.

The Lodge was in a lovely location nice and private. It had more facilities than expected and the chocolates and processco were an additional nice touch. Mattress was really comfy!

There wasn't anything we did not like. We did however think it may have been helpful to have a small book of house keeping e.g how to operate oven, where to take recycling/rubbish

The lodge was absolutely beautiful, the Christmas decorations and lights was a lovely touch! As soon as we arrived we had a look round and it was absolutely spotless! There was some Prosecco left in the wine chiller, chocolates and water left in the fridge and slippers/robes for the hot tub. Generally couldn’t fault the stay, will definitely be coming back next year! There is something for everyone here including magazines, tv, PlayStation etc.

The only one fault would be the slight smell of the bathroom area, smelt like sewage but was manageable with the door closed.

Stunning location next to a lake with ducks roaming free. No immediate guests in other lodges so it was quiet, private and peaceful apart from the ducks chattering in the morning. The lodge was gorgeous, well equipped and the little touches of the welcome bits like, coffee pods, chocs, milk and prosecco were very welcomed. Gorgeous decorations for Xmas and lots of clean towels, robes, Slippers and shower goodies available. Even cute little touches such as a black towel specially for make up removal were such lovely additions for us girls 😍 The hot tub was ready for us and the cabin was toasty and cosy, perfect for a couples break. The TV swivels so you can lie in bed and watch films, plenty of PlayStation games and dvds in the drawer above the wine fridge to use and a Bose speaker if you want to listen to music whilst enjoying a beer outside or sitting in the hot tub! Outside heater and table and chairs to sit and watch the ducks with your morning coffee and the bed was so so comfy. Ignore the previous comments about the pillows falling down the back of the bed, this was not an issue at all! Away from the lodge in Ellesmere itself is an absolutely stunning place called The Boathouse on the Mere where you can have a wonderful lunch, staff and food were lovely amd made our stay much more special!
