place was a dumpfor the money, big rework required.

They allowed us a late checkout which was very nice, even though we ended up not needing it. The room was exceptionally large with a kitchen. Nice budget friendly, low key lodge in the woods.

The door didn't latch so we had to use the deadbolt and the curtains didn't provide 100% privacy.

It was quiet. Water pressure and availability of hot water were great. Plenty of towels. Place was very clean.

Very old, no closet, very dim lighting, making it very difficult to read in the living room, kitchen table was an OLD card table with 2 equally old chairs. Shower head was so low I had to bend over to wet my head. I don't know if there was ever any staff on premises. The closest place to eat or shop is about 30 minutes away.
