NLIt’s a nice isolated cabin in Talkeetna,and around a 2.5 hour drive from Denali National park. The room was very comfortable with a heater and a fridge, included beds for 4 people but we were 2. The bathroom is a separate place (two showers and toilets) and shared by guests from other cabins.
There was an unpleasant smell around the area (it was damp and rainy) which might be from some plants. The price seemed a bit expensive and less value for money for 2 people.

Messages back and forth between property unnecessary. Said we were cabin 3, then cabin 5, the cabin 3 (we didn’t need to know this before checkin, just message us the day before) then we arrived later than expected and we would be assured our name would be on the door. Wrong name. Checked into a bin full of trash. Rest of cabin okay with cleanliness.
USWe absolutely loved our stay at Dave’s fishing cabins. We stayed at Cabin #1 which has a private bathroom and fully equipped kitchen with dishes, pots and pans, some basic groceries such as coffee, sugar, oatmeal, cooking oil etc which we highly appreciated. The bathroom had toiletries. It felt like “home away from home”. The cabins are right off Parks Highway, therefore was not hard to find. There was a welcome sign with my name on it which made checking in easy. We would definitely love to stay here again.
The check in process could have been informed to me ahead of time so I know what to expect.
USThe cabin was cute outside with my name on door welcoming me. Beds were comfortable and cabin warm. Only about 4 miles from town. Host was very nice and offered to refund money if we wanted to find other accommodations.
Walls and floor were painted plywood. Would need very little upgrade to finish inside..Did not realize before renting that bathroom facilities were off site. About 50 yards from cabin. Scary to walk to in wooded area on a pitch dark night in area of bears.
USEverything you need in a convenient secluded location. Bathrooms were clean and just a short walk from the cabins. Fire pit was great and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Simple check in and check out.
USUSUSIt was as basic as it gets but the heater worked, was clean and quiet, so no complaints! Great place to crash and save some money.
