It was quiet and peaceful. The accommodation was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The appearance of a variety of buck now and then at the waterhole was a brig treat.

While the kitchen was well kitted and everything we needed was there, some comforts/amenities were missing, i.e sufficient cutlery/crockery etc. 10 people. Seating for 10 people inside was also limited.

The house was lovely and spacious for my family.

The receptionist failed to give my in-laws the correct directions on the day of our arrival. They were 5 minutes away from the lodge and she told them to go back all the way to town. Lots of bugs in the house, so I didn't get much sleep. Cleaners did a terrible job first time they came to clean, and only improved after I complained to the manager. Electricity kept tripping and they don't have a qualified electrician. The guys that can seem to have no idea of what they are doing. There was a time when we got back to the house and there was no water. When I called I was told they were still pumping it. It took long for them to solve any of the issues we were having. The pool did not work. I had promised the kids they would swim and I was very disappointed. The place is very far from the CBD. No activities on the premises, just boards written Spa, Gym, Camping, etc. We were told the place is still new, they are still building. The place looked very nice on the pictures, but not in real life. We never got to use the pool, but it looked so small enough to fit one of the kids. I wish I had done more research before booking the place.
