Oakside Tree Tops

Really lovely views, friendly staff and good facilities in the room. The location is also very good as Canterbury town is close by. We went for a lovely dinner, dessert and stroll in the town before heading back to the treehouse.

The bed was comfy, but a little small for 2 people. The cleaning was not done to a high standard. Lots of things were not done including a bin still full, with a food bag left on the balcony. I complained about this and the cleaner was sent back straight away and was very polite and very apologetic. However, even then, there were still finger prints on the kettle, bathroom taps etc. We arrived after check in time and cleaning was still being done so I am guessing that it was rushed for one reason or another. We also were told that breakfast had to be booked at an additional cost, but when we checked out we were told that we could’ve come for breakfast as it would’ve been free. That was quite annoying as if the intention was to offer us a free breakfast, why were we not told before checking out? The truly hospitable thing to do would have been to inform us beforehand - especially as we were inconvenienced by the poor cleaning.

The place is superb!! The owner was fantastic and the grounds are lovely. Breakfast was amazing and all 100% recommend a stay in the tree tops!!

Bit of traffic noise but really don't notice it

Everything, we loved our stay. We had a kind and warm welcome from Stuart the owner. We walked the beautiful woodland area on the grounds, met the pig before relaxing on the balcony of the tree house. Luck was on our side as we had the good weather to accommodate the beautiful views of the sun setting. We wanted calm and peaceful surroundings and that’s what we got. The tree house it’s self is a brilliant crafted piece, had all we needed and we Slept like a logs. Indulged on a fantastic cooked breakfast the next morning. Thank you for having us, we will see you again. All the best x

No faults, all was great.

The treetop was such a cool and cozy place to stay with amazing views over the acres of Forrest and an amazing sunset spot. Stuart was so friendly and accommodating - he cooks a mean breakfast in the mornings! Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Great location, Stuart was very welcoming and accommodating, the tree house was beautiful and the grounds were good for a walk in the forest and there was even some pigs in the garden!

Nothing to dislike.
