Lovely cabin with outdoor kitchen (very well equipped) in a garden with a lot of animals to spot. Close to the beach (2 mins walk) and Cahuita NP entrance. Cleaned every day.

The location, the property itself is beautiful and the staff were all very friendly. There was a lot of wildlife to see just on the property.

The only one thing we didn’t like was one of the three dogs that live there is aggressive and barks a lot. Takes away from the serenity of the property.

Our room door was open before check in and we found a couple of lizards and insects. No warm water. Very limited usable stuff.

Very quaint, rustic almost jungle setting less than a mile from town. Staff was friendly, attentive and accommodating. Room air conditioned.

Few, if any amenities. Basic toiletries offered; one small bar of soap is all. Coffee pot available if you bought your own coffee.

The pillows were maybe the most uncomfortable pillows I’ve used, they were also dirty and had some stains on it. There were cups in the bathroom that weren’t cleaned. When we got there all the windows and door to the room was left wide open.

It took a while, but the AIR CONDITIONING worked great!! Slept well. Outside was like a sauna.

On booking dot com we saw the place, with a price of $67 usd. When we got there SUPRISE the host charged us 40,000 CR colones, which at first thought is equal to about $80! That was an unpleasant surprise. Later, upon further investigation, found that the TOTAL COST on booking dot com was $75.71 usd, & that the exact conversion of 40,000 colones comes to $76.50 or so. So we were not overcharged, but did not know this at the time. Would appreciate it if Booking dot com would quote the ENTIRE cost of the stay BEFORE or DURING payment/reservation process. Thank you.

Great location, close to the beach and super restaurants. Parking was available and lots of nature around. We saw a sloth up close and a frog!

Room was basic but cheap. Host could have offered more information about the area, restaurants etc upon check in. Maybe an information sheet could be shared with visitors about tours, the area etc? Did find a cockroach, lizard and frog in the room.
