Casitas Del Rio Riverfront Nature Lodge

Super mooie locatie. Prachtig uitzicht, hele mooie tuin en vlak naast de jungle. Heerlijk zwembad en rivier om in af te koelen. Chris is een uitstekende host en geeft hele goede tips voor activiteiten (waterval, mangrove tour). En weet veel te vertellen over de plek en historie. Heel mooi huisje en zeer compleet.

Zo mooi dat we wel weer terug moeten komen.

Very spacial and lots of nice animals

We love to find interesting places that are owned and operated by people with a passion for what they do. Casitas Del Rio Riverfront Nature Lodge delivered on all accounts. It is only a couple of kilometers off of the main highway, but you feel like to are in a different world. The owners know the area intimately and provide great recommendations to supplement your stay. Access is easy since the lodge works to keep the road in good condition. If you expect asphalt, then you are visiting the wrong country.

Peaceful riverside location surrounded by wildlife. Comfortable lodge and friendly hosts who gave helfpul recommendations and organised our tours for us, and even kept a suitcase when we went for a few days to Drakes Bay. Nice to meet other guests over breakfast - a really chiiled vibe and a hidden gem.

The road to the property is unmade and bumpy in places which put us off eating out at night. A little more breakfast variety would have been apprciated.

Nice accommodation and friendly hosts.

The $40 cleaning fee was excessive for a two night stay even though no daily housekeeping.

Beautiful gardens and river.
