The Old Stable

Very quaint, and comfortable.

The heat was turned down lower than we liked and the thermometer was locked so we couldn’t adjust, but luckily the propane fireplace was there.

Charming, had everything you would need. Really good value.

Church bells ringing fairly frequently.

What a beautiful and peaceful place to stay! The Old Stable is just perfect.. beautiful interiors, comfortable sofa and armchair in leaving room, TV and WiFi working fine.. Kitchen is well equipped. The beds and bedding are so comfortable! And smell so good too :) The shower is hot, powerful and spacious. There are two toilets and a washing machine. The owners are really nice and they thought about every little thing to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Don't worry about bringing an iron, hair dryer, washing up liquid, ear plugs or umbrellas - they're all provided :) I'm definitely saving The Old Stable for my future stays in Lincolnshire.

It didn't bother us so much, but please note that the cottage is located right opposite the church and the bells can disturb you every 15 minutes, also at night. Ear plugs are provided or you can pack ones that you like and it shouldn't be a problem :)

Spotless and exactly how described

The location was perfect for us as we came to Lincolnshire to visit friends, but having said that great location for visiting other areas ie Lincoln and the coast not too far away. If churches are of interest plenty of outstanding churches to visit and where there is a church there is usually a good pub.

Possibly the lack of a pub and village shop, but good pubs and shops not too far away, is well within walking distance.

Great location, character property in lovely village. Very comfortable. Hosts were excellent.
