Auchenlea lodges

Only a short distance from home in a lovely setting , the cabin was spotless clean and very comfortable the owner greeted us upon arrival . The lodge is fully equipped and the only thing you need to bring is food , or use the Chinese takeaway half a mile away and the added bonus of the horses and their babies came to say hello

Very clean and comfortable. Easy parking and close to transport links which was perfect for travel. Hosts were very friendly and responded very quickly.

Lovely little cabin. Five minute walk from the train station with regular services into Glasgow (around a 20 minute journey). Not a lot of food options nearby so you will either need to drive or self cater - there are a few cooking utensils available but you might need to get a bit creative! There are a couple of bar stools available to sit at though it would be a very tight fit for two — a small table and chair or somewhere to sit and eat would be a great addition for future stays. Host is wonderful and gladly provides you with many sightseeing tips and suggestions. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My second visit to Auchenlea Lodges. A lovely warm welcome, spotlessly clean, well equipped accommodation with everything you could possibly need, and more. Ideally situated on the outskirts of Glasgow with excellent transport links into the city centre. Amazing value for money. Look forward to returning.

There is nothing to dislike

Just 10 minutes away from the city centre, the lodge gives some cozy and rustic village vibes! The room is neat and spacious and it has everything you need for a short stay. The couple who runs the place is warm and friendly. You can park right in front of the lodge and they have enough parking space for all.
