Edge of Padstow, 2 bedroom luxury lodge

Lovely clean and spacious dog friendly lodge with great views. Well equipped with lots of small touches that made it a very comfortable stay. Electric charging point is a real plus! The site is immaculate too, very peaceful with the added bonus of Craftworks for a meal/drink. Perfect location for exploring Padstow and the surrounding area. Would definitely return.

Nothing really! The mattresses weren’t overly comfortable so woke up aching a bit in the mornings, and if staying for longer, drawers in the bedrooms would be useful.

The lodge was perfect for us. My wife and I both said "we could live in a place like this". We had a lovely relaxing time and Padstow was everything we could have hoped for.

Our short break was perfect. I wouldn't change anything.

A little hiccup with the key safe box when we arrived was soon fixed by the excellent reception and maintenance staff there. The lodge was exactly as seen on photos, all was clean, spacious really well equipped and beautiful views. The walk into Padstow is ok, not scenic but you get there in 15 minutes. Although we did not have our dog with us - the lodge and the park are really well geared for dogs, so no problem should you bring your fury friend.

One slight downside was the e-charging at the property - it has a label with instructions on it, but these were faded and not readable. We used the ones by reception, though don't arrive without charge as the first day they were in constant use. The instructions for the e-charger could be inside so easier to read

Location is great and the host was easy to communicate with. The host allowed us to rebook with a new credit card which was greatly appreciated.

Very basic house with minimal amenities. Had to ask for towels because not enough were provided and they advertised providing shower gel and we had to also ask for that. Water pressure doesn’t allow two showers to run at once. The seating in the lounge is also not very comfortable and the furniture feels very big for the space. I wouldn’t consider this a luxury property as advertised. While the beds were cozy, the pillows were not very comfortable
