Beautiful position, peaceful with awesome views.

Getting a little run down.

An absolutely gorgeous setting with glorious wrap around coastal views among the trees. Well designed and airy cottages.

The interior needs a makeover, as the place is quite shabby and run down and not as clean as desired. Not enough to make one want to leave, as the pros still far outweigh the negatives.

Stunning location, cooking on the BBQ on the deck and overlooking the bush and ocean was magical. Would love to come back.

Where do these good reviews come from? The general standard of cleanliness was very poor. The outside area had lots of leaves. OK, it's in a woodland setting and gums drop leaves, but a couple of minutes with a leaf blower would have cleaned it up. I didn't use the BBQ, due to ingrained dirt and rust; needs cleaning and a new hotplate. Very unhygienic. We tried to clean the outside table but gave up, it was filthy. (See photo) Rugs, chairs and tables had various stains and grime. Window frames had green verdigris. The hole in the toilet wall, mentioned on 23rd October, is still there. (See photo) The main shelf in the fridge door will not stay in position as the door liner is broken. The dishwasher has a broken door handle. (see previous report) The top of the stove is very rusty. I could go on. I think the worst thing was the lack of communication. We did not see the owner/manager for the whole stay. There is no internet or phone signal, thus no way to communicate. We went to the compound in which I believe the owner's residence is situated, but there was a large gate across the entrance and an 'electric fence' warning sign. There is no welcome instruction nor any pointers on what is available in the local area. The roof water that supplies Eagles' Nest appears not to have any filtering.

Views were breathtaking, waking up to the sunset on the horizon was stunning. The bath was so peaceful and relaxing surrounded by nature.

Location, View and the cottage itself were great.

The solid metal hot plates on the stove were rusty and had grease on them. the floors to the kitchen ,bathroom and toilet were sticky. Shower showered the whole room, Draws were dirty,BBQ was dirty, dirty toaster.

The view from Redgum Cottage was impressive, the overall state of the cottage was poor and not good value for money. Would not recommend to friends or stay long term again. Disappointing.

The cottage was scruffy, couch filthy and it needed a good clean throughout. The supplies in the kitchen were adequate but poor standard. There was one plastic garbage bag and no scrubber for pots. The bathroom was mouldy throughout and there was green sludge coming out of cold tap. The window coverings were inadequate for the bedrooms for a proper sleep in. This cottage needs a serious clean, update. Not good value for money.
