Apple tree hut, in a private garden

Parking and the size inside was tiny

The host was really helpful before we arrived, prompt to reply - gave us local knowledge too. When we arrived the host quickly came to meet us and showed us where to park and how to access the Apple Tree Hut. The cosy accommodation was very clean, well appointed and is a wonderful location. Close to a great coffee shop and a pub too – if that's what you like.

Quiet and secluded spot in beautiful countryside. It's kind of "luxury basic" - it has everything you need and what it has is well done and decent quality, but also it's really very much a "just the essentials" sort of place (a kettle, a shower, a bed, a TV). What you really are paying for is the peace and quiet and the lovely location. Kaley the owner was super nice and helpful. Recommend the Sunday lunch in the pub next door - it was amazing!

The hut wasn't that clean, cobwebs and dust pretty much everywhere we looked. Bedding and towels didn't smell great (fusty). Had to wash all crockery and cutlery before use as it was dusty/dirty.

Lovely little hut, can tell a lot of love has been put into it. Decent shower. Great location for walks!. Pub very close by if you want a pint or some food, although the food is aimed at a niche audience, Grassington is two minutes away by car though and there are more options there. Internet on the TV worked so Netflix was available. The host was helpful and left us toilet roll when we requested it via text message after running out. It was lovely and quiet which is what we wanted. There was a lot of thought put into little things such as lighting and tea and coffee being available.

I feel like advertisement of "private garden" was misleading, the hut is in a private garden but overlooked by a big house, fencing it off a bit would be great so you felt there was some privacy. This is what makes me put it didn't match my expectations.. The bed was not comfortable for us, although my partner is 6 foot 4 so that may have had an effect but I didn't sleep well either night and nor did he. Would suggest owners added a fan in there when it's warm as it is small it does warm up also just to update utensils that are available in the kitchen. Also the counter top hanging over the foot of the bed is an accident waiting to happen, maybe round the corner off . TV was a little small but we managed fine and understand there wasn't a log of room to work with. We were still happy with our stay the main thing for us would be to upgrade the mattress :)

perfect location, very quiet, perfectly comfortable. the pub is literally on your doorstep and if you ask nicely they may even allow you to join you to dine with their b&b breakfast guests. Hebden Gill is just up the road and possibly the most beautiful location in the world. numerous walks which you can start from outside your property and a little cafe down the road with a play ground if you have a little one with you.

a coffee machine or some caffeinated coffee would be great… *oh and also a new loo brush* *whispers

Great location and quiet setting

Bed was small and very cramped. I’d rather have a bigger bed and take the table and chairs out. Garden wasn’t private as advertised. Looking straight into others big windows and sharing garden with others putting out their washing or gardening. Also tv didn’t work just Netflix.
