We loved everything. The setting, and the pool, were so beautiful we didn't want to leave. We loved the breakfasts, the dinners, our little cabin, the honesty bar and, most of all, Errol, Gail and their colleagues who make it all so special. As a former travel journalist, I've stayed in luxury hotels all round the world, but I think this is one of absolute favourites. It's not luxurious, but it has everything you need and Gail and Errol and the wonderful cook (whose name I don't know how to spell) couldn't have been kinder. I'm recommending it to all my friends and will definitely be back.

Incredible mind blowing setting. Fantastic friendly hosts who have poured so much love into this property. Delicious turkish breakfast with lots of variety. Location was the perfect distance to the town. It's a great 6 min bike ride. Out of the hundreds of properties I've stayed out around the world this might be one of my favorites. We hope to return someday. Magical. Absolutely loved it.

Very nice and hospitable owners who are always there for you. And beautiful views from the great swimmingpool.

What we thought would be 5 days finally turned into 10, because the wonderful grounds and the warmth of the hosts did us so much good. Fantastic, lovingly tended garden with all kinds of plants; luxurious pool area; generous Turkish breakfast; clean, stylishly furnished bungalows with lots of privacy and above all an incredibly peaceful atmosphere!

An absolute gem! Already thinking of when to return. The wonderful owners have created a tranquil oasis where you can relax and enjoy. The breakfasts are amazing, freshly made with produce from the garden and there are numerous other touches which make your stay a really special one. Would highly recommend without hesitation.

This Place!!! What a gem of a find! Erol and Gaye are genuine beautiful hosts. Portalimo lodge is a heavenly paradise of peace and rest with the bungalows all hidden in the fruit trees. The homemade breakfasts are full of taste and wholesomeness and are plentiful to set you up for the views by the pool which are magnificent (and I thanked mother nature every day for this place and its surrounding nature). This is a place to calm you and rejuvenate, not for partying. The lodge is a walk or short cycle away from the village. There are no taxis running in the immediate area. Olympos end of the beach is stunning with two rustic beach restaurants to sit and listen to the waves and watch the world go by as you fall asleep. There are a few smaller boats which sail around the bay and this is lovely too so we booked two trips via MAHI MAHI TRAVEL (Cirali). Ceylon restaurant is the best we tried on the main strip of the village. Alcohol puts the prices up somewhat but the food is fairly priced and delicious. Take Lira or Euro - everything priced in Lira. You can change money in a couple of places there but no main office.- you will need to ask. Lovely boutique shops with one off clothing and jewellery and restaurants with a couple of supermarkets and 3-4 ATM around the village. This is a place I want to tell you about, but I also want to keep a secret to avoid anything ever changing. Erol and Gaye are the best and I want them to have a great many seasons as they deserve this through their love, care and attention to their home which they share. çok teşekkür ederim Lisa and Debbie will be back x

This is one of those one in a million hotels that you only find a few times on your travels - or at least it was for me. The pool area and the garden setting is so stunning, and it feels so peaceful, I could have stayed here by the pool for a month. The honesty bar is also always a great touch. It doesn’t matter that the rooms aren’t fancy, this hotel was 10x better than other 5* resorts we’ve stayed in. Not to mention that the couple that runs it are SO nice and would do anything to make you enjoy your stay.

Nothing - it’s perfection!

Gaye and Erol are just the best! They will make you feel like at home. We arrived late on the first night, and Erol offered us the ride to the village by car and picked us up when we were done. This was already so kind from him! Fresh, varied and very hearty breakfast each morning (always delicious). The garden is amazingly beautiful, the pool just perfect with its view on the mountains and the nature. Everything is well maintained and clean, the bungalow was cosy and the bed very comfortable. We took bicycles to go to the village and beach every day (5-7min). Easy ride and bicycle is a very commun transport in Cirali. They are lots of good restaurant (you definitely have to try Turkish specialities, they are so YUMMI), and also « private » beaches (belonging to hotels/restaurant) you can go to and use sunbeds and umbrellas (you can pay to use, or you order drinks/food and can use for free). We regret only one thing: that we had to leave this paradise :( we will be back for sure! Thank you again Gaye & Erol for your warm welcome, kindness and hospitality. We couldn’t have dreamed for a better place to disconnect and relax. Don’t hesitate any longer and book at Portalimo: you won’t be desappointed! Lots of love to both of you and Hera, Alice and Edgar

Beautiful place run by a lovely marriage. One of the best hotel i’ve stayed in. If you are looking for a peaceful , quiet stay among great nature this place is for you. Thank you for the best ending of our holidays in Turkey! Cannot wait to come back one day😊
