It is a great location and easy access to birding activities.

The upper balcony was nice but could use a bigger table and more chairs.

Really charming and rustic place with great taste. The entire place was very calm with amazing views over the lush valley towards Santa Marta. The perfect place for a sunset drink and some birdwatching!! The quiet, peaceful location makes the uphill walk from minca village worth it.

Only issue was a gas supply problem on our first night, meaning we had to eat out after already having bought food to cook in our appartment. But Elena was a great host and sorted the problem in time for our morning coffee the next day :)

Wonderful location overlooking the lush hillside. Beautiful sunsets. Elena was a great host. We even extended our stay by a couple of days.

this place should have a fridge and 2-3 glasses so you can fully enjoy that view chillin' *laundry available

in the moment that i made the reservation i put some filters and was showing that this place has kitchen. but in reality this house has an apartment and a room. the apartment comes with everything and the room with the bed, bathroom and terrace (table and hammock). small bed for 2 persons cuz the protection for mosquitos is not doing the job if you move in the bed. in all the nights i wake up to kill mosquitos, so in the end i didn't really enjoy sleeping there. very hot during the night and sleeping with the window open is not an option cuz of the insects (no fan available). the water doesn't have pressure and when you take a hot shower the lights goes off (working just 10-20%). hard to find in the night. note: after you book wait an automatic message so you have all the informations!

Casa Magica is a beautiful property in a quiet location just outside the main centre of Minca. We loved having a kitchen and fridge so we could make our breakfast and cook (after two months traveling it felt like a treat to cook!). Elena was super helpful and responsive before and during our stay and we loved her cats hanging out in the garden. The location is a 30-minute walk from Minca which is fine downhill on the way there but a bit harder on the way back! Ijka cafe restaurant nearby does great pizza and there is a pretty waterfall 15 minutes walk away. There is another room upstairs which has a great view for sunset - if you are a group of four it would be perfect to have both rooms as then you basically have a house to yourself. Overall we loved our stay and it was nice to be away from the centre of Minca which was busier and noisier than we expected.

It would have been nice to have soap provided in the bathroom and a tea towel in the kitchen. We found the lack of curtains a bit strange :-/ Filtered water would have been great too as you can’t drink the water in Minca.

We had a wonderful stay at casa magica. The location is great! We had a wonderful view and amazing sunsets. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable but the terrace is the best. We ended up doing way less things that we planned to do because we enjoyed relaxing in the hammock so much. The host is super warm hearted and made us feel at home :)

The property is tranquil and idyllic. Colombia is always very loud, yet here you can hear the sounds of nature with hot water included!
