Wonderful staff, gorgeous location. Perfect amenities and room. Thankful to the kitchen who was able to cook a meal for one of our group with severe allergies (that's been VERY tough to find on our 5 weeks of travel in Namibia and South Africa). Don't miss the adjacent Damara Culture Living Museum and the Twyfelfontein Visitors Centre to understand and honor local life in Damaraland ("|Ui ||aes" in the local click language). We're not usually interested in tourist stops, but these two destinations are truly helping preserve local culture.

Fantastic place. We stayed in the superior tent which is beautifully decorated and really spacious. Unlike other reviewers we thought the food was excellent - three types of delicious meat on braai and a couple of high quality side dishes and salads. Admittedly not a massive buffet like your all inclusive resorts catering to 100s of people, but entirely appropriate for a boutique place. Entirely clean and safe, and lovely staff.

The shade around the pool is annoying - only two covers with c8 sun lounges crammed beneath them… there are a few other sun lounges in the open sun, and if the hotel provided a few parasols then it’d take away the stress of sitting unnaturally near others. The internet broke down, for 1.5 of our 2 days, but that may be because we experienced storms of a rare magnitude on both evenings - our 4G signal had similarly failed.

The camp provides an oasis in an extraordinary arid landscape. The lodge do a great job making you welcome and looking after you. Morning or sundowner from up on rocks behind the camp offer magnificent views across the rusty red rocky terrain....and on one occasion a lucky glimpse of desert adapted family of elephants crossing the valley floor.

This place has provided one of those unexpected but pleasant experiences that come as an absolute surprise. Comfortable and clean tent, nice relaxation area, good food, astonishing sunset and extremely knowledgeable safari drivers! Overall, an excelent experience we absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Namibia!
