"Great spot we will be back."

This is self catering the fridge was stocked with all you need for breakfast. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing few days this is the place to go.

Can't think of anything i did not like. It is just a nice 20 min. walk to Kilkenny city with great places to eat.

Beautiful cabin, such a comfortable living area and everything you need for your stay is to hand. Stove and bottle of bubbly was great.

It's minor really but the bed is quiet small for a double

"We had a lovely stay and would stay again"

We had a lovely three night stay at Alder Cabin it's more suited to a couple, the host Donna met us upon arrival and was very welcoming she had the essential items of food left for us. The stove was lovely to have and very warm with only one stick at a time on it. Donna had left it ready to light with plenty of firewood also. Everything we needed in the kitchen was there plenty of kitchen utensils etc

The only negative feedback I can say is about the bathroom it has no shelves to place your toiletries etc and no hook on the door to hang clothing. Also the shower is directly at the door as you open it and is a wet room style so all the water gets all over the floor and dragged out into the living area also the smell from the shower trap was a bit overpowering so we had to keep the door closed. Also the TV only has Netflix this didn't bother us too much
