Beautiful cosy and comfortable pod.

What a beautiful place and warm and cosy pod. Paula and Denis were excellent, they are very friendly people. The pod was spotless too.🥰

Location was ideal. Out of town, quiet and peaceful. On the first night, Paula checked in to make sure everything was alright and I had everything I needed, that was a nice touch. Had all the kitchen utensils required to make a variety of foods. Lovely path with lights etc on the way to the pod. Bed was very comfortable. I'm not much of a tea or coffee drinker, but there was a good selection of both available.

The portable timer heater could be replaced with a wall heater for a more controllable even heat. The heater was on the floor so it felt like it was taking some time to spread around the pod. If it was higher up it would disperse quicker.

The Pod was spotlessly clean, it had everything necessary for our stay. The decor was gorgeous, plenty of blankets, games etc. Paula was a fantastic host. I couldn't recommend this enough. Very near Clonakilty and in a lovely country setting.

Nothing to complain about.

We stayed here on the second night of our road trip around the south, which coincided with my cousin’s wedding at Fernhill House Hotel. The cabin was warm and cozy, with a very homely feel. The bed was comfortable and the shower was warm. The cabin was heated before our arrival, which was a nice touch as the winter can be brutally cold and that night happened to be brutally cold. It was also great that we managed to find a place so close to the wedding venue at a reasonable price, many places I’ve stayed over the years had a ‘near a popular venue’ markup or a holiday rate so it was nice to pay a normal price for a new year’s wedding for once. If I’m ever in Clonakilty again this will be the first place I try to book.
