Plumptons Farm Holiday Lodges

The room was great, generally very well equipped and clean. The shower and towels were very good quality. The room is very warm. The staff and owners were very friendly and welcoming. The outdoor facilities were also very nice.

The car park could be made a little bit bigger to make it easier to turn around when there are several cars there. There is very poor TV signal, and even if you want a quiet retreat, the option should be there to at least watch the news or entertainment of an evening, There was also no WIFI, for me this was a problem as I had to send emails. If the room had this functionality it would be an improvement. Access was very bumpy, For a low level car this could be a problem, especially in winter. An informative warning would be a good thing to add.

Peaceful

Very clean, warm and comfortable, especially the bed. Easy communication with owner. It was ideal for a short break and for visiting Colchester.

Minor point but bathroom lights on sensor are a bit dazzling in middle of night! Lack of reliable phone signal (EE) might be an issue for some.
