"Convenient for Rincon but nothing much in village apart from waterfall."

Beautiful setting. Friendly staff

One bed was very noisy and uncomfortable. There was only cold water. No freezer compartment.

"Well-located budget accommodation in the hills not far from Liberia."

A fine Tico breakfast, very reasonable price, run by a lovely family, with a fine pool, sweet grounds and lots of seating (and hammocking!) space outside. A price/performance winner.

Cash only for payment. No ability to fix coffee in the room, or even utensils so you can eat something of your own. The place is fairly venerable, so it's a little on the funky side.

"Great value budget accommodation."

This is a great value budget accommodation. Great little cafe opposite for coffees and empanadas. Comfortable - no aircon but lots of good fans. Wonderful to sit out on the patio looking at all the birds in the trees.
