Towels were dry and a bit old. Don’t like single beds

Self catering

The geyser only works at night - so we had freezing baths in the heart of winter. However, this water is still only lukewarm at night and no where close to hot. We were boiling kettles of water to bath. When I called the owner - he asked me to reset the geyser, which was high up with no ladder. Clearly this is an issue. The bed broke. The tap broke in the kitchen. There is an indoor gas braai, with no ventilation because the entire house smokes up when braaing unless you open all the doors, which is not feasible in winter. The owner was no where near sympathetic and told me he will investigate the issues, as if these things were made up. It is very disheartening for the price you pay to stay here and how badly you are treated.

Need more stones on the gas braai.
