Harewood Lodge - Single and Double Rooms Self Serve Apartment

For the price for 3 people to be honest it’s good value, and equivalent hotel etc would have been 3/4 times the price. So based on that…. You expect what you pay for. If you want the Hilton hotel, pay Hilton prices. This is a room…. With the ability to shower, use. The toilet and make a cuppa if you want to. The room is ok, the shower and toilet were clean and very nicely done and although we didn’t use it the kitchen was very modern and well laid out. If you are after somewhere to just get your head down for a night and leave in the morning (like we did) then spot on. Want a luxury space to relax and spread out… you will be disappointed.

The general cleanliness of the property was fine however I would be dubious about if the sheets on the bed were fresh for our stay, but maybe give them the benefit of doubt and hope they just smelt damp from storage.

it states that ie permanently closed on google so don’t waste your money or time when booking here. staff were not helpful

Comfy and simple

It was basic, just what we needed somewhere to sleep, shower and make a cuppa. Also in an area we know.

Could have done with use of a microwave, and the bedding could have been all cotton and not a satin duvet cover and pillowcase.

The property was located in the town and access was easy, with a car park.

Owner contacts me after my negative review on here. And threatens to charge me £200 for the dirt I originally complained about. Typical customer service.The rooms smelt, the carpets were dirty, the bed looked like it’s been slept in. The bedding smelt really bad. The towel that was left in the room was dirty and used. No facilities in the room. Just a bed and walls. Would never stay here again. It’s more of a half way house for the homeless.
