Stuga på Hammarbergs Gård

Eccezionale la struttura e la funzionalità. C'era tutto quello che possiamo volere in pochi metri quadri, compresa la lavatrice e il parcheggio sotto casa e gratuito. Vicino all'autostrada ma in un posto molto tranquillo. Bellissima la disponibilità di tutte le piccole cose che sono molto gradite come il caffè. Segnalo che il padrone di casa ha fatto uno sconto per la biancheria perché non avevo tutto il contante.

Non avevo letto durante la prenotazione che era richiesto supplemento di 10 Euro per lenzuola e asciugamani. Ovviamente nulla da dire sulla correttezza perché era chiaramente riportato nelle condizioni ma comunque mi è sembrato strano che questo servizio non fosse compreso nel prezzo.

The Stuga is located in a charming location, directly in front of a horse riding farm. There is a table and two chairs outside the Stuga and having breakfast outside watching the horses in the early morning is a real joy.

It is important that people understand what kind of dwelling a Stuga is. It had a basic working kitchen including a microwave and the fridge, as well as a fine bathroom including hot water. Important for anyone traveling in the summer: this dwelling does not have screens, and there is no way of opening the windows to allow for air breeze (it was very hot during my stay it was very hot during my stay) without allowing unfettered access to all kinds of creatures -- from flies to bugs to spiders. When it was time to go to bed-- although I have kept the bedroom lights off-- I discovered a large spider in the corner of the room and there was nothing I could do about it. So I just had to grind my teeth and remember that for hundreds of years human beings have coexisted all kinds of natural creatures. Sweden is one of the safest countries in the world, but some travelers may not feel comfortable with windows which can only be opened in such a way that could be easily accessed from outside should anybody had that intention.

+location, short drive from E6 but still relatively quiet and rural +Cabin seems modern and somewhat recently refurbished +Very flexible with arrival and departure time. Key is in a lockbox so no interaction with the owner was necessary

-The fan in the bathroom is broken -The curtains are absolutely substandard. They allow way too much daylight to come through. Not practical in a Scandinavian summer. I had to cover the bedroom windows with fleece blankets to block out the light to be able to sleep. -The shower needs a deep cleaning. Very grimy and filthy at the lower part of the doors. -No mosquito netting so the cabin fills with flies and mosquitoes if you open the windows at night. -Quite close to a road with a fair volume of traffic so road noise is a thing (earplugs help). -Shower is lacking a way to hang the showerhead, so you have to hold it in your hand.

Very well equipped, super clean, comfortable bed, nice location.
