Avallon Lodges

The property was peaceful and in a nice secluded spot. Close enough to drive to the beaches without being in a touristy spot. The lodges are basic, but they have everything you need and the hot tub was fabulous.

Everything overall...the bed was very comfortable, the hot tub was amazing . The owner came to us straight away after I panic a little bit because I didn't had any bath towels or any dressing gowns , but was 100% , very friendly and polite. Love the farm animals all around the facilities. The lodge heating was amazing , very good . We really enjoyed it 🥰

Just a suggestion for the owner about the hot water taps . A couple of times I end up nearly burning my fingers 😁 . From the health and safety point of view, maybe a yellow sign of awareness of how hot the water comes out from the taps or a tapmixer to avoid that situation. It was a bit difficult to use the water to wash the kitchen dishes or even to brush my teeth as it comes straight away out boiling water 😊

It was cosy and practical and perfect for relaxation. The hot tub was superb and we had a lovely welcome from the owner.

Can’t fault it

Lovely lodge, it was very deceiving in size from the outside, it was vey roomy inside plenty of seating for the whole party even when visited by family who live in the area. It was be clean and warm. Considering the weather was cool and wet we only used the heater once in the lounge area one evening for a short period.

The only thing was the location of the hot tub. It was a little out of the way and vey dark so didn’t use as much as we would have liked to.
