USExceptionally great stay at a small camp outside of the Talek gate. Rooms were beautiful and very clean and private, beds were comfortable as well. The staff was amazingly friendly and personable, taking care of every small need and eager to give their visitors the best experience possible. Olaloi Mara Camp is intentionally small to help keep interactions between staff and guests very individualized. I also booked a game drive through the camp - was a full day drive and saw an impressive amount of wildlife including many lions and cheetahs. The host, Jemimah, also helped with communicating with reserve staff - this allowed me to drive from Nairobi and pass through both the Sekenani and Talek gates after closing time without paying any additional fees. I would be very happy to come back here the next time I'm visiting the Masai Mara!

GBIt was such a fantastic experience to say at Olaloi! The place is simply saying a gem very close to Talek gate of Massai Mara park. The cottages are simple and traditional. This was exactly what we expected. The staff is a credit to this place, they will go miles to feel you welcomed. Very helpful, very kind. Jemima is very easy to communicate with, very responsive to all the wishes. There are a couple of things that may be a problem for some (for me it was not a problem) - the WiFi drops the connection and is patchy occasionally and water pressure in the shower is low. We loved the food there - the chef prepares everything from fresh and it is full of flavour and beautifully spiced. Yummy, even my two angry teenagers ate a lot here! All in all it is a beautiful place and I hope to come back some time in the future 😊❤️

DEDas Personal war extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit! Das Essen war sehr lecker, das Zimmer super gemütlich und das Bett sehr bequem. Man hatte einen tollen Blick in den Garten und konnte auch noch entspannt auf der Terrasse sitzen und spielen oder dort essen.
Das ist nicht direkt negativ gemeint, da es seeehr subjektiv ist, allerdings hätten wir ab und zu gerne etwas mehr Ruhe genossen. Beim Essen stand durchgehend ein Angestellter in der Nähe (wir waren die einzigen Gäste), wodurch man sich etwas beobachtet gefühlt hat, und als ich krank im Bett lag kam fast alle 1-2h jemand vorbei, um zu fragen, wie es mir geht. Dass das extrem lieb und hilfsbereit gemeint ist, weiß ich, und weiß dies auch sehr zu schätzen, allerdings hätte ich mir zu dem Zeitpunkt lieber etwas Ruhe und Schlaf gewünscht. Aber da das alles auf netter Absicht beruht, würde ich dies nicht als negativ werten.
DEOur three days at Olaloi were just amazing. We we're welcomed by Jemimah, Jacob and the whole team in person. James, the Chef, prepared a late lunch for us and the highlight of day one was the Kenyan Tea around the bonfire, where we got a Maasai Welcome Dance by the camp team, which was absolutely stunning. Through our whole stay, everyone gave everything to make our time as great as possible. Thanks again for taking us into Maasai Tradition. I can highly recommend, spending time at Olaloi Mara Camp and enjoy the authentic and very warm hospitality.
FRThe place definitely exceeded our expectations. The room, dining area and the whole camp ground are much larger than in the pictures. Everything was extremely well maintained and clean. The owners went the extra mile - were always helpful and available and keen to have a conversation (each night we chatted at the dinner and breakfast). They also set-up a fireplace and showed us hippos that you could see at night near the camp. Food was also excellent - the cook listened to all our dietary requirements. Last night we had an "African Night", that allowed us to try local food

DEIch kann nichts anderes sagen, der Aufenthalt war hervorragend! Die Unterkunft ist nicht groß, bietet aber alles, was man braucht. Es gibt drei Häuser, die großzügig und sauber sind. Man vermisst nichts. Die Aussicht geht in die Natur und wenn man Glück hat laufen abends sogar Nilpferde durch den „Garten“. Frühstück, Mittagessen und Abendessen sind sehr reichhaltig. Das Personal lässt sich immer was einfallen. Die Unterkunft liegt ein paar Minuten vom Reservat entfernt. Ausflüge ließen sich vorab über den Gastgeber buchen. Ein Muss: Ballon Safari.

MYThis is an absolutely exceptional yet affordable camp. The accommodation was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The owners were extremely friendly and gracious. Staff was amazing and very accommodating. Fantastic food. Great location near the park gate. They can also arrange excellent game drives for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

ZMThe room was way better than expected. The food was delicious! The staff were attentive, very friendly, and extremely efficient. The activities attached by the facility were beyond all expectations. The owners of the property were very prompt in responding to all my communication and questions. This is a local Maasai owned and run camp directly benefiting the local community. Very close to the Maasai Mara park entry gate.
There was nothing I did not like. I wish I could have stayed longer!
